The Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers baseball team (Gardner, IL), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL)
The Wildcats now hold a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln-Way Central for a non-league outing on Friday, April 28. Wilmington will confront a Knights team coming off a 13-1 league win over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Knights record now stands at 13-6.
Next, the Panthers confront the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders (Kankakee, IL) in a River Valley outing, on Saturday, April 29. Gardner-South Wilmington will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Crusaders go into the outing with a 0-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Beecher (Beecher, IL).
