Illinois High School Baseball - Mercer County loses to Geneseo

In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs baseball team scored a nice 13-0 victory over the Mercer County Golden Eagles.
The Maple Leafs (14-5) will now prepare for their game against East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Panthers go into the Western Big Six game with a 14-6 record. In their last game, East Moline United overcame Normal Community (Normal, IL), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Golden Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL). The Heat go into the Lincoln Trail game with a 1-14 record. In their last game, Biggsville West Central was overwhelmed by West Prairie (Sciota, IL), 5-4, in a non-league game.
