In Thursday's league game, the visiting South Portland Red Riots baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Massabesic Mustangs.
The Red Riots (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Biddeford (Biddeford, ME). The Tigers go into the Class A South game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Biddeford tipped Deering (Portland, ME), 11-1, in a league game.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Rams go into the Class A South game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Gorham was overwhelmed by Marshwood (South Berwick, ME), 6-4, in a league game.
