In Thursday's league game, the visiting Mt. Pleasant Oilers baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Midland Chemics.
The Oilers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Vicksburg was edged by Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI), 2-1, in a league game.
The Chemics (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Central (Bay City, MI). The Wolves go into the Saginaw Valley game with a 2-0 record.
