In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Northside Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Elmwood Park Tigers.
The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Schurz (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Schurz was edged by North Grand (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a battle, on Tuesday, May 2. Elmwood Park will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 10-9 record after their 2-0 league win over Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL).
