The Lyons Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Addison Trail Blazers to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Downers Grove North for a West Suburban game on Tuesday, May 2. Lyons will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 18-7.
The Blazers (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins enter the non-league game with a 16-3 record. In their last game, Lincoln-Way East gained a win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
