The Phillips Wildcats held off the visiting Morgan Park Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Wildcats now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simeon for a Chicago Public Green - South test on Tuesday, May 2.
The Mustangs (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Goode STEM Academy (Chicago, IL). The Knights enter the Chicago Public Green - South test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Goode STEM Academy was nudged by Kenwood (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
