Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Kadets confront the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 2. Air Academy will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Red-Tailed Hawks enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO).

The Thunder now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lutheran for a challenge on Tuesday, May 2. Discovery Canyon will confront a Lions team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Holy Family (Broomfield, CO). The Lions record now stands at 9-0.
