South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 22-2 in a league battle.

The Lions now have a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knoch for a WPIAL 2A 2 battle on Tuesday, May 2. South Fayette will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 13-5 league loss to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Knights record now stands at 5-6.

In their next game, the Bridgers clash with the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 2. Ambridge will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 9-5 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Peters Township (McMurray, PA).
