The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats (Shoreham, NY) and the visiting Eastport-South Manor Sharks (Manorville, NY), saw Shoreham-Wading River's lacrosse team nudge Eastport-South Manor by a margin of 10-9.

The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY). The Phantoms enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Bayport-Blue Point edged Westhampton Beach (Westhampton Beach, NY), 9-2, in a league challenge.

The Sharks (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Babylon (Babylon, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 11 II challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Babylon edged North Babylon (North Babylon, NY), 14-8, in a league challenge.
