Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL), 8-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) in a Independent Schools challenge, on Wednesday, May 3. Regina Dominican will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Romans enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 5-1 league win over North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL).

The Hilltoppers now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chicago University for a Independent Schools challenge on Friday, April 28. Elgin Academy will confront a Maroons team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 8-3.
