The Lamar Thunder smashed the host St. Mary's Pirates soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Thursday's league match.
The Thunder now sport a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberal for a non-league match on Saturday, April 29. Lamar will encounter a Redskins squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS). The Redskins record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, St. Mary's drops to 4-8 on the season. The Pirates travel to Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO) to encounter the Demons in a 2A Tri Peaks match on Thursday, May 4. The Demons come into the match with a record of 7-3.
