In Thursday's league test, the visiting Patriot Pioneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Gainesville Cardinals.
The Pioneers now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Battlefield for a non-league test on Thursday, May 4.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) in a test, on Monday, May 1. Gainesville will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA).
