Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host American Fork Cavemen (American Fork, UT), 12-10 in a league battle.

The Thunder now have a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Peak for a 6A Region 4 match on Tuesday, May 2. Westlake will play a Knights team coming off a 21-8 league win over Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, American Fork drops to 8-2 on the season. The Cavemen host Corner Canyon (Draper, UT) to play the Chargers in a 6A Region 4 match on Tuesday, May 2. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 9-2. Corner Canyon won 19-1 in their recent league match against Skyridge (Lehi, UT)
