The Lake Norman Wildcats lacrosse squad (Mooresville, NC), was overwhelmed 17-6 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC)

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Charlotte Latin Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA - Division I contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Cannon will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 7-10 record after their 14-9 league loss to Durham Academy (Durham, NC).

The Wildcats now own a 18-3 record.
