In Thursday's league test, the visiting Joel Barlow Falcons lacrosse squad scored a tight 13-11 victory over the Pomperaug Panthers.
The Falcons now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guilford for a non-league test on Saturday, April 29. Joel Barlow will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 5-3.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Watertown Indians (Watertown, CT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 29. Pomperaug will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 15-11 non-league win over Holy Cross (Waterbury, CT).
