The Smithsburg Leopards lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the host South Carroll Cavaliers to 5 in the Leopards non-league win on Thursday.
The Leopards (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Middletown (Middletown, MD). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Middletown nudged Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD), 14-1, in a league match.
The Cavaliers (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Frederick (Frederick, MD). The Cadets go into the non-league match with a 1-7 record.
