The Argenta-Oreana Bombers softball team (Argenta, IL), was routed 9-1 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL)
Coming up next, the Vikings encounter the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a Heart of Illinois test, on Friday, April 28. Tri-Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 6-9 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL).
The Bombers (10-8) will now prepare for their test against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Knights come into the Lincoln Prairie test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was routed by Mattoon (Mattoon, IL), 19-16, in a non-league test.
