The Boardman Spartans softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Field Falcons to 5 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Boardman improves its record to 9-10 on the year. The Spartans host Howland (Warren, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a All-American game on Monday, May 1. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 11-6. Howland won 4-0 in their recent non-league game against West Branch (Beloit, OH)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Notre Dame Academy Eagles (Toledo, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 28. Field will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-15 record after their 12-0 league loss to Central Catholic (Toledo, OH).
