Ohio High School Softball - Cardinal can't get by St. John

In Thursday's non-league contest, the St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH) softball team held off the visiting Cardinal Huskies (Middlefield, OH), by a margin of 6-5.
With the triumph, St. John moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Fighting Herald travel to Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH) to play the Skippers in a Northeastern Athletic contest on Friday, April 28. The Skippers come into the contest with a record of 0-7. Harding lost 15-0 in their recent league contest against Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH)
In their next game, the Huskies play the Berkshire Badgers (Burton, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley contest, on Monday, May 1. Cardinal will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Badgers come into the contest with a 4-14 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, OH).
