Chalker Wildcats (Southington, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pymatuning Valley for a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Monday, May 1. Chalker will battle a Lakers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Lordstown falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Red devils host St. John (Ashtabula, OH) to battle the Fighting Herald in a Northeastern Athletic challenge on Monday, May 1. The Fighting Herald enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. St. John won 7-2 in their recent league challenge against Harding (Fairport Harbor, OH)
