The East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT) softball tipped the visiting Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledyard for a Eastern Connecticut - Large challenge on Friday, April 28. East Lyme will battle a Colonels squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Guilford falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Sheehan (Wallingford, CT) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Sheehan won 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT)
