Grantsville Cowboys (Grantsville, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT), 12-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys now sport a 19-1 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan for a 3A Region 13 challenge on Friday, April 28. Grantsville will face a Trojans squad coming off a 13-2 league win over Ben Lomond (Ogden, UT). The Trojans record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Stansbury falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Hillcrest (Midvale, UT) to face the Huskies in a 5A Region 7 challenge on Friday, April 28. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 5-13. Hillcrest lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Tooele (Tooele, UT)
