Virginia High School Softball - King's Fork bounces Indian River

The King's Fork Bulldogs routed the host Indian River Braves softball squad by a count of 16-4 in Thursday's league battle.
The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies go into the Southeastern battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Grassfield topped Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Braves now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a Southeastern battle on Tuesday, May 2. Indian River will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 9-3 league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-4.
