The Milford Mavericks softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Walled Lake Western Warriors to 19 in the Mavericks league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Milford moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Mavericks host Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Lakes Valley game on Tuesday, May 2. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 3-8. Walled Lake Central lost 19-2 in their recent league game against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI) in a Lakes Valley game, on Tuesday, May 2. Walled Lake Western will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
