Nevada High School Softball - Mineral County bounces Sierra Sage Academy/ROP

Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sierra Sage Academy/ROP Rams (Yerington, NV), 26-6 in a league challenge.
The Serpents now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Virginia City for a 1A Northern challenge on Saturday, April 29. Mineral County will battle a Muckers squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Sierra Sage Academy/ROP falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV) to battle the Bighorns in a 1A Northern challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Bighorns enter the challenge with a record of 8-4.
