Mishicot Indians (Mishicot, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West De Pere Phantoms (De Pere, WI), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valders for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29. Mishicot will face a Vikings squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Chilton (Chilton, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, West De Pere falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Phantoms host Appleton North (Appleton, WI) to face the Lightning in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. The Lightning enter the challenge with a record of 1-5.
