The Taylorville Tornadoes softball team (Taylorville, IL), was routed 4-1 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Pana Panthers (Pana, IL)

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Gillespie Miners (Gillespie, IL) in a South Central test, on Friday, April 28. Pana will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Miners come into the test with a 16-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Jersey (Jerseyville, IL).

The Tornadoes (4-13) will now prepare for their bout against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Greenwave go into the Apollo bout with a 8-12 record. In their last bout, Mattoon held off Cumberland (Toledo, IL), 7-5, in a non-league bout.
