Illinois High School Baseball - North Clay/Clay City loses to Centralia

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Centralia Orphans baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the North Clay/Clay City .
The Orphans (12-9) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Rams go into the South Seven game with a 9-14 record. In their last game, Mt. Vernon by Mattoon (Mattoon, IL), 5-3, in a non-league game.
The (10-11) will now prepare for their game against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 17-1 record. In their last game, St. Anthony tipped Farina South Central (Farina, IL), 16-1, in a non-league game.
