The Columbus Cardinals baseball team scored 21 runs and limited the visiting Richland Center Hornets to 5 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cardinals (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Poynette (Poynette, WI). The Pumas go into the Capitol - North match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Poynette was overwhelmed by Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI), 10-0, in a league match.

The Hornets (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Baraboo (Baraboo, WI). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Baraboo was overwhelmed by Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI), 9-1, in a league match.
