The Fremont Firebirds the host Cupertino Pioneers baseball team by a count of 5-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Firebirds now possess a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga for a El Camino bout on Tuesday, April 30. Fremont will face a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Milpitas (Milpitas, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-14.
Next, the Pioneers face the Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) in a De Anza bout, on Wednesday, May 1. Cupertino will attempt to move on its 4-15 season record. The Titans enter the bout with a 5-16 record after their 7-6 non-league win over San Mateo (San Mateo, CA).
