The Harrison County Thorobreds nudged the visiting Whitley County Colonels baseball team by a tally of 4-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Thorobreds now hold a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Calvary Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. Harrison County will face a Cougars team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 9-12.
Next, the Colonels face the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 27. Whitley County will attempt to advance on its 18-9 season record. The Bearcats enter the bout with a 11-7 record after their 7-3 league loss to Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY).
