In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting New Haven Rockets baseball team scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Lake Shore Shorians.
The Rockets (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln (Warren, MI). The Abes go into the Macomb Area - Bronze game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Lincoln by Madison (Madison Heights, MI), 18-1, in a league game.
The Shorians (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Marine City (Marine City, MI). The Mariners go into the Macomb Area - Gold game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Marine City tipped Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI), 8-3, in a non-league game.
