The Mumford Mustangs baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting University Prep Panthers to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their match against King (Detroit, MI). The Crusaders go into the Detroit Public - Southwest match with a 4-3 record.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Detroit Community (Detroit, MI). The Hurricanes go into the non-league match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Detroit Community was overwhelmed by Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn, MI), 5-4, in a non-league match.
