In Saturday's non-league game, the host St. Xavier Bombers baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the St. John's Jesuit Titans.
The Bombers (5-14) will now prepare for their game against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, St. Ignatius was edged by Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 6-2, in a non-league game.
The Titans (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Walsh Jesuit tipped St. Edward (Lakewood, OH), 3-2, in a non-league game.
