The Briggs Bruins volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Newark Wildcats to 1 in the Bruins non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bruins now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edgewood for a non-league game on Saturday, April 27. Briggs will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 12-5.
