The Plainfield East Bengals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Downers Grove South Mustangs to 1 in the Bengals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bengals now have a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brother Rice for a non-league game on Saturday, April 27. Plainfield East will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 12-8.
The Mustangs (14-15) will now prepare for their game against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers enter the non-league game with a 17-9 record. In their last game, Lake Park held off Minooka (Minooka, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
