Ohio High School Volleyball - Edgewood over Newark

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH) volleyball squad knocked off the host Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Briggs Bruins (Columbus, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 27. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Bruins come into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH).

With the loss, Newark drops to 5-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Dublin Scioto (Dublin, OH) to battle the Irish in a non-league contest on Monday, April 29.
