The Orangewood Academy Spartans (Garden Grove, CA) volleyball nudged the host San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Grizzlies (San Luis Obispo, CA), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Orangewood Academy upgrades its record to 19-8 on the year. The Spartans travel to The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA) to face the Griffins in a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 1. The Griffins go into the outing with a record of 18-16. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Indio (Indio, CA)

The Grizzlies now own a 9-7 record.
