The South Sioux City Cardinals held off the visiting Lutheran-Northeast Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Scotus for a match on Monday, April 29. South Sioux City will encounter a Shamrocks squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Lakeview (Columbus, NE). The Shamrocks record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Lutheran-Northeast drops to 2-8 on the season.
