The Monte Vista Mustangs baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Bear Creek Bruins to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs (10-8) will now prepare for their match against De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 9-2 record.
The Bruins (13-11) will now prepare for their match against McNair (Stockton, CA). The Eagles go into the match with a 0-5 record.
