The New Hartford Spartans lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Ballston Spa Scotties to 12 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

The Spartans (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Whitesboro (Marcy, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 3 TVL- East match with a 2-3 record.

The Scotties (5-7) will now prepare for their match against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Spartans go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake nudged Johnson City (Johnson City, NY), 18-7, in a non-league match.
