The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) and the visiting Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), saw Southwestern's softball squad achieve victory over Austin by a count of 18-1.

The Rebels now sport a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Rising Sun for a Ohio River Valley match on Wednesday, May 1. Southwestern will face a Shiners squad coming off a 20-3 league win over Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN). The Shiners record now stands at 12-1.

With the loss, Austin falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host New Washington (New Washington, IN) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, April 29. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-7. New Washington lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN)
