The Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) softball routed the host Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME), 14-4 in Saturday's league bout.

The River Hawks (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Nokomis notched a victory over Winslow (Winslow, ME), 10-0, in a league bout.

The Witches now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bangor for a Class A North bout on Monday, April 29. Brewer will confront a Rams squad coming off a 13-1 league loss to Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Rams record now stands at 0-3.
