Buckeye Bucks (Medina, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bucks now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lakewood for a Great Lakes challenge on Monday, April 29. Buckeye will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Normandy (Parma, OH). The Rangers record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Firelands falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Columbia (Columbia Station, OH) to battle the Raiders in a Lorain County 8 challenge on Monday, April 29. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Columbia won 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Firelands (Oberlin, OH)
