The Gayville-Volin Raiders softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Chamberlain Cubs to 2 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Gayville-Volin moves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Raiders host Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Class B game on Saturday, April 27. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 7-3. Bon Homme won 7-6 in their recent league game against Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD)
In their next game, the Cubs clash with the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 9. Chamberlain will attempt to move on its 0-14 season record.
