The East Carter Redbirds softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Charleston Bluejays to 3 in the Redbirds non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, East Carter moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Redbirds host Risco (Risco, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, April 29. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 9-6. Risco won 13-3 in their recent league game against South Pemiscot (Steele, MO)

In their next game, the Bluejays play the Clarkton Reindeer (Clarkton, MO) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Charleston will attempt to move on its 1-17 season record.
