Warren East Raiders (Bowling Green, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 19-9 record. They take the field next when they host Barren County for a District 15 challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Warren East will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 21-7.

With the loss, Christian County falls to 13-10 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY) to battle the Gators in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 15-7. Greenwood won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY)
