The Downers Grove North Trojans routed the visiting Willowbrook Warriors softball squad by a count of 18-7 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Trojans (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes go into the West Suburban - Silver battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, York was routed by Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), 10-4, in a non-league battle.
The Warriors now sport a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Downers Grove South for a West Suburban - Gold battle on Monday, April 29. Willowbrook will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-4.
