The Flaming Hearts now sport a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Effingham will face a Maroons squad coming off a 6-5 league loss to Newton (Newton, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Fairfield falls to 12-10 on the campaign. The Mules travel to North Central (Farmersburg, IN) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27.
